The Quran is in the Arabic language and holds such a high position in eloquence and rhetoric that producing a text similar to it is beyond human capability. The magnificence of the Quran's language is unique. Throughout the Quran, there are numerous instances of metaphors, allegories, similes, and examples of supreme eloquence and rhetoric. The use of literal and figurative language is also prevalent in many parts of the Quran. To understand the linguistic merits of the Quran, it is essential to study the sciences of the Quran (Aloom al-Quran). Among these sciences is the science of rhetoric (Ilm al-Balaghah), which has three main branches: Ilm al-Ma'ani, Ilm al-Bayan, and Ilm al-Badi'. This assignment briefly describes Ilm al-Badi' and some of its subtypes.
