Abstract

This scholarly paper investigates aboutn the dynamics of Targheeb (encouragement) and Tarheeb (deterrence) verses in the Qur'an, illuminating their reciprocal relationship and impact on Muslim thought. Through a nuanced examination of semantic tones, rhetorical strategies, and contextual frameworks, this research distills the essence of these verses. The study reveals the Qur'an's pedagogical approach, balancing promises of divine mercy with cautionary warnings, guiding believers toward righteous and virtuous living. This investigation contributes to a deeper understanding of Islamic shariah, inviting readers to contemplate the transformative power of the Qur'an.
