Abstract

This article intends to describe the rulings of Halal and Haram in Semitic religions, similarities, differences, and categories of edible items which are halal or haram.  This article describes in detail about these groups of Halal and Haram things, like cattle, fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, and pulses etc. Moreover, it also intends to describe the methodology and philosophy of halal and haram in these religions. This article will be an effort to promote harmony and peaceful co-existence among the followers of Semitic religions. This article will also provide guidance about this topic to new investigators, researchers and general public as well
